For the last time I raise the revolver to my head,
No-one can stop me this time, I'm alone instead.
A gunshot echoes off the green hills.
But it's not the sound that kills.

Every single little lie I made is being dismissed.

I swear that this action will make them all pay.

Rest deep within my soul.
Every time they surface,

Knowledge is power,
or so that is what some say is to be true.
Part of that is in fact true,
but the other part…
Well they left the other part out.

Knowledge is power… but only some, not all.
Oh. No.
…
No. No.

Some knowledge is like a disease.
Or some kind of infection.
It enters through the senses.
Most commonly,
The eyes.
Or the ears.
However it finds its way into your mind does not matter.

Through the mind it travels straight to the heart.
And then some place even deeper.
A place where no other infection or disease could ever touch.

It nibbles.
It bites.
It devours.
It devastates.
It destroys.
It kills.
It can even change.

Sure some knowledge may be power.
But other knowledge….
Well other knowledge is just plain hell.
